Gut Keuchhof Seminar Centre wins at the „Oscars“
The competition
A total of 216 hotels in all categories were evaluated. All the conference centres were subject to a multi-layered selection process, culminating in a visit by an author from the Freizeit publishing house. The author examined a range of criteria for inclusion in the publisher’s book “Selected Comfort Conferences Centres.” Around 16,000 eligible participants awarded points to the hotels short-listed for the “Grand Prix of Selected Comfort Conferences Centres” in a scoring system similar to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Second-best conference centre in Germany
Stuttgart/Cologne, 6th Februar 2010 – The Gut Keuchhof Seminar Centre was named second-best conference centre in Germany at the 15th “Grand Prix of Selected Comfort Conferences Centres”. The competition, initiated by the Freizeit-Verlag (Freizeit Publishers) in Landsberg is widely-accepted as the most important indicator of quality in the German conference market. The Gut Keuchhof Seminar Centre, which only reopened in August 2007 won the silver medal in the Category C, “pure conference centre”, and proved one of the most spectacular entries in the competition. This award takes on even more meaning as the conference centres are rated by the guests and not a jury. The second place is an impressive confirmation of Gut Keuchhof’s philosophy: to have fun running a conference centre with passion, heart and soul in a place where our guests and their participants feel good and at home.
Fourth-best conference centre in Germany!
In May 2009, our seminar centre was named the “fourth-best conference centre in Germany” at the Freizeit-Verlag (Freizeit Publishers) in Landsberg annual awards. That was an improvement of one place on the previous year in the category C, conference centres.
5th best conference centre in Germany
On the 7th June 2008, the FREIZEIT- VERLAG (FREIZEIT publishing house) in Landsberg awarded for the 13th time the title “Best Conference Hotel in Germany”. This can be described as the Oscars for German conference centres.
The Seminar Centre Gut Keuchhof gained 5th place „Spectacular New Entry“ at this years “Grand Prix of Selected Comfort Conferences Centres”.
This award in the category “Purely-Conference-Centre” was presented to the SeminarZentrum Gut Keuchhof by the publisher Mr. Schmitz and the project leader Jacqueline Schaffrath.
We are very grateful for this wonderful award and are working hard to ensure we do even better next year.
In August 2007 we re-opened our rebuilt SeminarZentrum Gut Keuchhof. „I’m very pleased that we could win such a great award in our first competition!“ said general manager Sandra Baggeler.
